Purpose: Small yearly grants to enable the implementation of parish mission and financial sustainability plans.
Scale: £5000 per annum per stipendiary post for up to 4 years
Timing: Following FfM cohort rollout i.e.
Churches can typically start to apply for the grants once they have met all the criteria’s listed below. We anticipate that this will be typically by the 9th month of engagement in the MPR process

Access Criteria: participation by the incumbent’s church(es) in the Mission Planning and Review Process (MPR) and being up to date with:
- Mission Plan
- Financial budget
- Parish share payment or payment plan
- Stats for mission returns
- Return of parish finance
- Service attendance data
- Annual report & accounts
- Quinquennial review form
- Safeguarding dashboard must be completed up to level 2
Note:
- A larger single parish with a team of ten clergy may access up to £50,000 per annum as long as all churches complete the above elements.
- Grants must be used for activities that have missional/financial sustainability goals and stated in the parish mission plan.
