A Reflection on the Recent Terrorist Attack in Manchester

Posted on

In light of the terrorist attack in Manchester yesterday, Bishop Ruth has offered the following reflection:

Like so many, we are deeply saddened to hear of the terrible events in Manchester yesterday. Our prayers are with our Jewish brothers and sisters, all those who have lost loved ones, those who are injured, and everyone whose lives have been shaken by this attack.

At times like this, words can feel so inadequate, yet we hold fast to the light of Christ that shines in even the darkest of moments. We stand in solidarity with the people of Manchester and with all communities affected by violence and fear.

Please continue to pray – for peace, for healing, and for hope.
