Purpose: To increase racial diversity in our church leadership and enable churches to break down barriers that prevent them reflecting the diversity of our region.

Scale: Funding provides for staff to work to:

  • Increase diversity in our lay and ordained leadership positions by dismantling the barriers to entry and promotion.  
  • Create missionally focussed initiatives that dismantle specific historic barriers to faith, creating broader places of safety and welcome.
  • Develop a learning toolkit for church leaders to be equipped to welcome greater diversity from their local communities and raise up diverse leaders in church communities.

Timing: Structured programme 2025-2031.

Access Criteria: Structured support available to identified communities.  Support available to all leaders to enable their churches to welcome a greater diversity from their communities.
