Since December, the Diocese has had a vacancy in the role of Assistant Diocesan Secretary. We are pleased to announce that, from April, Matt Elliott – who currently serves, and will continue to serve, as Director of Finance, will take on the additional duty of Acting Assistant Diocesan Secretary for a period of six months, while preparations are made to recruit to the post on a permanent basis.
Commenting on his appointment, Matt Elliott said:
“I’m delighted to be able to offer support to Sharon and the wider team in this acting role over the coming months. Having worked closely with our board of trustees and senior colleagues across the Diocese over many years, I hope that those experiences will be put to good use during this next period.“
Please join us in praying for Matt as he begins this additional responsibility. In this role, he will play a key part in supporting the ongoing work of the Diocese of Liverpool, working closely with Sharon Parr, Diocesan Secretary, to serve clergy, congregations and communities across Liverpool and Merseyside.
