The Archdeacons’ Team will be holding another Churchwardens’ training event on Monday 2nd September 2024, at Aughton Christ Church, L39 5AS, from 7 to 9pm. This is open to all Churchwardens who didn’t attend the July training event and who want to find out more about taking on this special and important role as an officer of the Bishop and a leader in your church.
The event will take the shape of an evening of sharing experience and developing skills. There will be welcome refreshments from 7 to 7.30pm, followed by an hour or so of discussion and training to equip all Wardens – whether newly appointed or existing. There will also be an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the role.
