Ahead of this Saturdays, ordinations, Bishop Geoff issued the following statement
“The joy of meeting and interviewing the Deacons about to be Priested is meeting people who are ‘fully’ alive. It’s a quality I love to identify. They have an energy and a quality of life that is attractive. They appreciate their training incumbents and are seriously trying to keep in step with the Spirit of God. That of course leads them into all sorts of new experiences. As relationships develop they start to love the church they are called to serve. It’s not always an easy challenge. But it is an exciting and necessary vocation. We thank them for taking up the challenge.” +Geoff
