This past weekend, St James Church, Westhead opened the doors to a special temporary exhibition celebrating its anniversary and telling the story of the church through the years.
The opening day was filled with plenty for everyone to enjoy, from creative crafts and exciting scavenger hunts to free ice cream and the chance to explore the church and discover more about its history.
The Exhibition is Running all Summer
Visitors are invited to take a journey through the years, learning about the people, memories and moments that have helped shape St James Church into the community it is today. The exhibition offers a wonderful glimpse into the church’s past, while bringing people together to celebrate its story and look forward to the years ahead.
During the weeks of celebration, we will be open at the following times:
- Wednesdays: 10 a.m.–12 noon and 2–4 p.m.
- Thursdays: 2–4 p.m. and 6–8 p.m.
- Saturdays: 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
- Sundays: 10:30 a.m. service, with the venue open until 2 p.m.
The exhibition runs until 20 September at 2 p.m.
