Father’s Day can be a meaningful occasion for many people, offering an opportunity to celebrate the fathers, grandfathers and father figures who have shaped our lives. For those whose loved ones are no longer with them, however, it can also be a time to pause, remember and honour their memory.
A Day of Reflection
Whether your memories bring comfort, gratitude or quiet reflection, taking time to remember loved ones can be a valuable and even enjoyable part of the day.
To mark Father’s Day, Anfield Crematorium will be open on Sunday, 21 June, for anyone who would like to visit and spend time in quiet reflection. Whether you wish to sit peacefully with your thoughts or take a moment to remember someone special at their memorial, you will be warmly welcomed.
It’s important to remember that not every Father’s Day is a celebration, and this space will allow people to mark the occasion at their own pace.
Father’s Day Memorial
Providing an opportunity for shared remembrance in a calm and supportive setting, a commemorative service will take place at 1pm. The event is being delivered in collaboration with the Good Funeral Company, and refreshment will be available for all attendees.
The service will also be livestreamed for anyone who is unable to attend the event:

All donations on the day will go to Anthony Davies Child Bereavement, which helps young children under the age of 11 with bereavement support.
Quiet Day of Celebration and Reflection
We understand that days such as Father’s Day can bring a mixture of emotions, and we hope this event offers comfort, connection and a chance to take time to reflect.
Good Funeral Company looks forward to welcoming visitors and providing a space where loved ones can be remembered with warmth and dignity, while also offering support and comfort to those who may need it.
