Bishop Ruth and I would like to say thank you to everyone who took part in the INEQE Safeguarding surveys.
Nearly a thousand people throughout our Diocese competed the surveys, sharing their reflections on safeguarding in preparation for the safeguarding audit that INEQE will undertake next month.
Thank you for your willingness to engage with important questions about how we ensure our churches, our Cathedral and all our church communities are safe spaces for all. The safeguarding surveys completed were shared directly (and solely) with INEQE. No response will be shared with the Diocesan team. If you did not have a chance to complete your own survey and would like to make your voice heard, you can still get in touch with INEQE by clicking here. Again, your response will only be shared with INEQE.
Over the next few weeks, INEQE will be reaching out to various groups selected to take part in digital and in person forums to gain a deeper understanding of safeguarding in our Diocese.
