David Baines, Member of Parliament for St Helens North recently visited St Helens Minster to find out how the team were getting on.
The team at St Helens Minister had arranged to meet with the Member of Parliament when he was back from Westminster and in the constituency following his attendance at a Being Minster launch event they had held back in December. At that event, they had stakeholders and friends from around the life of the town there to hear about 2026, have afternoon tea and be thanked for their support. David joined to hear about the great work coming out of St Helens Minister, and how the journey to becoming a minster was going and the impact it was having upon the local community.
David Baines has been a champion of their Minster vision from the start, when he was Leader of the Council.
