Supporting Healthcare Chaplaincy in Liverpool
- This event has passed.
We’re excited to announce an important new initiative for Liverpool! Introducing Someone Cares, a new charity born from the successful partnership between Freedom Church and the Spiritual Care team at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.
Their mission is to build strong, supportive links between the local Liverpool churches and healthcare chaplaincy services. They want to help provide vital emotional, practical, and spiritual support to patients, their families, and dedicated healthcare staff.
Join Them!
They’re hosting a special evening of prayer and collaboration for healthcare chaplains, chaplaincy volunteers plus anyone in the Liverpool church community interested in supporting healthcare chaplaincy. This is a chance to connect with healthcare chaplains and volunteers, and share ideas on how we can work together to make a difference.
● When: Thursday, October 9th, 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM
● Where: St Peter’s Church, Church Road, Woolton, L25 5JF To attend, please complete the registration form using THIS LINK.
If you can’t make it, They’d love to still hear your thoughts on how the church community can better support this important work. You can email them with your contributions at info@someonecares.co.uk, where you can also let them know if you would like to be informed about future events.
