The Global Freedom Summit is an international hybrid event jointly hosted by the Diocese and Archdiocese of Liverpool.

Join us at St. James’ House for the Global Freedom Summit, a hybrid event by international charity A21 focused on action and awareness.

The Global Freedom Summit is a movement for freedom designed by anti modern-slavery charity A21 and hosted in our local community. The event will take place at 2pm on the 4th of October at St. James’ House and is a joint event hosted by the Diocese of Liverpool and the Archdiocese of Liverpool.

Together we will kickstart our action through a screening of the premiere of the global freedom summit followed by a discussion led by activisits at the forefront of the fight against modern slavery.

The problem of human trafficking is both a local and global crisis. Through force, fraud, and coercion, people everywhere are being bought and sold againsttheirwill–right now, in the 21st century. This crime knows no boundaries—affecting every age, demographic, and region.

The focus for this year’s summit is child online sexual exploitation. Online child sexual exploitation and human trafficking are deeply interconnected, often overlapping in ways that fuel each other. Online sexual exploitation covers a range of illicit activities, including the creation, distribution, and possession of child sexual abuse images (CSAM), sextortion, and enticing a child to engage in sexually prohibited activity, among others. Online child sexual exploitation is one ofthe most urgent crises of ourtime, with its severity growing at an alarming rate every day.

Join us on the 4th of October to turn our awarness into action and take the next step towards ending modern slavery in our lifetime.

This event is ticketed by donation with all proceeds going to A21.
