From 1st January 2026, Jessica Howard, has taken up the role of Acting Clergy Housing Manager alongside her role as Appointments Secretary. Please see below an update from Jessica regarding her new role:
‘This is a very exciting opportunity to deepen the Clergy Housing Team’s relationship with our Clergy, and to make proactive changes which, I hope, will result in less worry about your housing and repairs. I look forward to developing the relationship further between our small but dedicated Clergy Housing Team which includes myself, Claire Evans and Maxine Davis, with you, our parish clergy, and with the support of the Clergy Housing Committee.
So far this year we have implemented some significant changes to our operation, and have spent time planning, completing outstanding repairs, creating new policies and establishing new processes. Substantial progress has been made and we are looking forward to sharing that with you in due course.
Your Clergy Housing team remain committed to providing the best possible care to you and your families, to creating and maintaining positive relationships with you and making the necessary improvements to your homes. We look forward to working with you all in this next chapter. St James House will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday, but all minor repairs can still be reported on Fixflo and will be picked up at the next opportunity. Please see below for our emergency contact number where you will be able to be in touch with an agent from Revive who will be able to assist you with all urgent queries and repairs ‘out of hours’. Please do add this phone number to your phone contacts and share it with other members of your household if necessary.
