Happy New Year to everyone across our Diocese and further afield!
As we enter this brand new year filled with hope, optimism and excitement for what this year brings for us across the Diocese of Liverpool, we wanted to take this opportunity to give you another reminder about our Safeguarding Audit which is being carried out by a third party called INEQE. This is a mandatory safeguarding audit all Dioceses and Cathedrals throughout the Church of England will be engaging with – and some have already completed theirs! It’s a moment for us to reflect upon our safeguarding practices and allow us to help improve them even further, ensuring the Diocese of Liverpool remains a safe place for all who walk into our churches, schools, Saint James House and other institutions.
What makes this audit important is you, its your voice that matters! We want to hear from everyone across our diocese to really allow us to shape this audit around the people who worship in our churches, work for our churches, schools and offices and serve our churches daily!
