Last week, Rt Revd Ruth Worsley, Interim Bishop of Liverpool welcomed 80 female clergy members to Liverpool Cathedral for a special event to reflect on women in ministry, the Diocese of Liverpool and the future
Some of those who attended began ministry before women were able to become priests and others are very new to ordained ministry. This month Bishop Ruth celebrate ten years as a bishop. Much has changed and there were moments of celebration for all that has been achieved. And there is more still to do.
Bishop Ruth is in the process of appointing a new Dean of Women’s Ministry in the coming months and she welcomes thoughts as to the shape of this important role.
